Tlle larger slot in tlle adapter must be aligned with tile larger slot in the wall outlet to provide proper polarity in the

connection of the power cord.

When disconnecung the power cord flom the adapter, always hold tile adaptor in place with one hand while pulling the power cord plug with tile other hand. If this is not done, tile adaptor ground mrmina] is very likely to

break with repeated use.

DO NOT USE tile dehumidifier until a proper ground has been established.

Attaching the adapter ground terminal to a waft

outlet cover screw does not ground the appfiance unless the cover screw is metal, not insulated, and

the wall outlet is grounded threugh the house wiring. Youshould have the circuit checked by a qualified electrician to make sure the outlet is properly grounded.
