3.

Remove carryover tubes and burners.

4.

Detach electrode from burner.

NOTE: Removal/Detachment method will depend on the

burner configuration. See different configurations in

illustrations below.

5.

Carefully lift each burner up and away from valve openings.

We suggest three ways to clean the burner tubes. Use the one

easiest for you.

(A) Bend a stiff wire (a light weight coat hanger works well)

into a small hook. Run the hook through each burner

tube several times.

(B) Use a narrow bottle brush with a flexible handle (do not

use a brass wire brush), run the brush through each

burner tube several times.

(C) Wear eye protection: Use an air hose to force air into

the burner tube and out the burner ports. Check each

port to make sure air comes out each hole.

6.

Wire brush entire outer surface of burner to remove food

residue and dirt.

7.

Clean any blocked ports with a stiff wire such as an open

some holes may become enlarged. If any large cracks or

holes are found replace burner.

VERY IMPORTANT: Burner tubes must reengage valve

In some areas of the country, spiders or small insects have been known to create “flashback” problems. The spiders spin webs, build nests and lay eggs in the grill’s venturi tube(s) obstructing the flow of gas to the burner. The backed-up gas can ignite in the venturi behind the control panel. This is known as a flashback and it can damage your grill and even cause injury.

openings. See illustrations at right.

9.Attach electrode to burner.

10. Carefully replace burners.

11.Attach burners to brackets on firebox.

12.Reposition carryover tubes and attach to burners. Replace flame tamers and cooking grates.

To prevent flashbacks and ensure good performance the burner and venturi assembly should be removed from the grill and cleaned before use whenever the grill has been idle for an extended period.

This gas grill promises to deliver exceptional performance, versatility, and convenience, making it an attractive option for anyone looking to elevate their grilling experience.

One of the standout features of the Char-Broil 463243812 is its spacious cooking area. With a total cooking surface of 475 square inches, this grill provides ample space for preparing multiple dishes simultaneously. The main cooking area, which spans 360 square inches, is complemented by a swing-away warming rack that adds an additional 115 square inches. This thoughtful design ensures that food can be grilled, warmed, and served all at once, making it ideal for family gatherings or backyard barbecues.

The grill is equipped with four stainless steel burners, ensuring even heat distribution across the entire cooking surface. Each burner delivers 10,000 BTUs of cooking power, allowing for precise temperature control and versatility in cooking styles—whether grilling, searing, or creating indirect heat zones for slower cooking methods. The total BTU output of 40,000 enhances its capability to achieve high temperatures quickly, perfect for achieving that coveted sear on meats.

In terms of construction, the Char-Broil 463243812 boasts a durable, porcelain-coated steel lid and firebox designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor cooking. The lid also features an integrated temperature gauge, providing users with vital information for maintaining the desired cooking temperature. The stainless steel burners not only resist rust but also ensure longevity, reinforcing the grill's durability.

The innovative TRU-Infrared cooking system is a defining feature of this grill, allowing for consistent heat and preventing flare-ups—one of the common nuisances associated with gas grilling. This technology enhances moisture retention in food, resulting in juicier steaks, chicken, and vegetables. Additionally, the grill's infrared capabilities enable cooking in colder temperatures, extending the grilling season.

Convenience features such as the electronic ignition system make starting the grill effortless, while side shelves provide extra workspace for prep and serving. The wheels are designed for easy mobility, allowing users to move the grill around their backyard or patio with minimal effort.

The Char-Broil 463243812 combines thoughtful design, durable materials, and advanced grilling technology to cater to an array of outdoor cooking needs. Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a daily griller, this model is poised to enhance your culinary adventures, making it a valuable asset for any outdoor cooking space.
