OVERVIEW

The purpose of the Aprilaire Dehumidifier is to keep the humidity in the house at acceptable limits to reduce the unwanted effects of high humidity. The dehumidifier will measure the dewpoint of the house to decide if it needs to run. The dryness set point can be adjusted with the control knob on the inlet side of the unit.

An integrated air cycling feature can be used to turn on the HVAC fan to cycle the air through the house to balance the indoor conditions. This feature is set up during installation based on house size and homeowner preference. An optional ventilation damper can also be installed to bring in outside air during air cycling.
