These models contain complete gas-burner, grate(s), and log components needed. Use caution when handling logs to avoid damage. Position the gas-burner assembly to the rear of the fireplace. The ST-CFL-24 log set should be positioned in the center of the unit. Once fully assembled, the front log will extend forward of the burner assembly.

CAUTION

To minimize the possibility of spillage and to maximize proper draft, position the log set as close to the back of the fireplace as possible. The ST-CFL-24 log set should be positioned in the center of the unit.

A. Installation

1.Run proper size gas line into fireplace. A 1/2 inch (13mm) gas line, with a 3/8 inch (10mm) reduction for hook-up, is usually sufficient for the Gas Log set; how- ever, if the run is unusually long, a larger line may be re- quired. Contact your local gas company or Department of Building and Safety if there are any questions.

2.Minimum inlet gas supply pressure for purposes of in- put adjustment, shall be 7.0 inches w.c. (1.75kPa) for natural gas and 11.0 inches w.c. (2.75kPa) for propane (LP gas). Maximum inlet gas supply pressure shall be 14.0 in. w.c. (3.5kPa) for both natural gas and propane (LP gas). Manifold (outlet) pressure should be 3.5 inches w.c. (.87kPa) for natural gas and 10.0 inches w.c. (2.5kPa) for LP gas.

3.The appliance and its individual shut off valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping system during any pressure testing of the system at test pressures in excess of 1/2 psig (3.5kPa).

4.This appliance must be isolated from the gas supply piping system by closing its individual manual shut off valve during any pressure testing of the gas supply piping system at test pressures equal to or less than 1/2 psig (3.5kPa).

Note: The gas supply line should be purged of any trapped air prior to the first firing of the unit.

5.A damper stop clamp with set screw is provided to prevent full closure of the fireplace damper blade. Attach the clamp to the edge of the damper blade with pliers or wrenches. If the damper stop supplied does not fit the application, use a permanent means that will keep the damper open to a MINIMUM of 51 square inches (328cm2). See Figure 2.

WARNING

Fire Risk

Open the chimney damper to its FULLY OPEN position when burning this gas log set.

Logs must NEVER be burned without the flue damper in the FULL OPEN position. Failure

to do so is dangerous to your health and voids all warranties.

Note: The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that the chimney flue damper, when used with gas logs, shall be welded open or completely removed.

Hearth and Home Technologies (HHT) has long been a leader in the hearth industry, and their line of gas fireplaces is a testament to their commitment to innovation, quality, and user satisfaction. Among their notable products are the CFL-24LP-IPI, CFL-30LP-C, ST-CFL-24LP-B, CFL-24LP-C, and CFL-30NG-C models, which offer a wide array of features designed to enhance warmth and ambiance in any living space.

One of the standout features across these models is the innovative "Intermittent Pilot Ignition" (IPI) technology found in the CFL-24LP-IPI. This system allows for greater energy efficiency by igniting the burner only when the fireplace is in use, reducing gas consumption and saving on utility bills. This energy-efficient design is complemented by a range of realistic flame effects that can be adjusted to suit user preferences, bringing the allure of a traditional wood fire into a modern gas appliance.

The CFL-30LP-C and CFL-30NG-C models target larger spaces with enhanced heating capacity and design flexibility. With their impressive dimensions, these units can effectively serve as the focal point of a room while providing ample warmth to larger areas. Featuring a variety of trim and finish options, they easily match diverse interior styles, from contemporary to classic.

Another significant aspect of these models is their user-friendly controls. Many units come equipped with remote control functionality, allowing users to adjust flame height and temperature settings without leaving their seats. This convenience is further amplified by the installation of a thermostat mode that helps maintain a consistent room temperature, enhancing overall comfort.

The ST-CFL-24LP-B and CFL-24LP-C models emphasize size without compromising style or performance. These compact options are perfect for smaller spaces, yet still deliver robust heating capabilities and the elegant aesthetics associated with Hearth and Home Technologies.

All these models adhere to high safety standards and include features such as automatic shut-off valves and glass doors to prevent accidental contact with the flame. Additionally, they are designed for easy maintenance and service, ensuring longevity and consistent performance.

In conclusion, Hearth and Home Technologies’ gas fireplace range brings together efficiency, style, and advanced technology. With models like the CFL-24LP-IPI, CFL-30LP-C, ST-CFL-24LP-B, CFL-24LP-C, and CFL-30NG-C, homeowners can achieve a cozier atmosphere while enjoying the benefits of modern engineering. Whether for a contemporary or traditional setting, these fireplaces deliver on both form and function.
