than setpoint, a dehumidification demand exists. The Thermidistat Control responds by activating the dry contact (when enabled in Option 19). It may also control the compressor and blower, depending on equipment type and dehumidify selection choice. The 3 available selections are described below. A mandatory 5 minute blower off delay will be enforced if there has been a call for dehumidification during a cooling call. The amount of extra dehumidification available is very dependent on the type of equipment in the home. Without a variable-speed blower, the system’s ability to adjust dehumidification is very limited.

1.Normal Dehumidify Operation

When normal dehumidify is selected, the compressor will not turn on without a cooling demand. If dehumidify demand exists while cooling, dry contact will also be active (24VAC removed). This output commands variable-speed blowers to reduce their airflow, which improves water re- moval from the cooled air.

2.Cool to Dehumidify

The cool to dehumidify selection tells the system to operate the compres- sor, within limits, when there is a dehumidify demand even if there is no cooling demand. The limits are that the system may overcool up to 3_, but no more, while attempting to satisfy a dehumidify demand. Within this 3_ range, there is an additional balance between overcooling and hu- midity satisfaction. When overcooling must occur, the dehumidify set- point is adjusted upward by 2% per degree of overcooling. For example, a cooling setpoint of 76_F/24_C and a dehumidify setpoint of 60% is equivalent to a cooling setpoint of 75_F/24_C and a dehumidify setpoint of 62%. This dehumidify setpoint change is internal to the Thermidistat Control and is not shown on the display.

A07048, A07049 specifications

The Bryant A07049 and A07048 are notable entries in the line of ductless mini-split systems designed for efficient heating and cooling. These models are well-regarded for their robust performance and innovative features that cater to both residential and light commercial applications.

One of the main features of the Bryant A07049 and A07048 is their advanced inverter technology. This technology allows the units to modulate their compressor speed, resulting in a more consistent indoor temperature. By adjusting cooling or heating output based on real-time demand, the units enhance energy efficiency while providing quiet operation and improved comfort.

The cooling capacity of the Bryant A07049 is rated at 7,000 BTUs, making it suitable for medium-sized rooms, whereas the A07048 has a slightly lower capacity, ideal for smaller spaces. Both models excel in providing rapid temperature control, allowing users to enjoy their desired environment swiftly. The quiet operation is a significant advantage, with sound levels as low as 24 decibels, making them perfect for bedrooms, offices, or other noise-sensitive environments.

Installation flexibility is another remarkable characteristic of the Bryant A07049 and A07048. Their ductless design eliminates the need for extensive ductwork, simplifying installation processes. Both models come with easy-mount wall brackets, and the refrigerant lines can be run through a small, discreet opening in the wall, maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the living space.

Energy efficiency is a standout feature of these models, boasting high Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) ratings. This high-efficiency operation not only reduces energy bills but also minimizes environmental impact. Additionally, both models include a built-in programmable thermostat that allows users to schedule their heating and cooling preferences, enhancing convenience and further optimizing energy use.

The Bryant A07049 and A07048 also feature a multi-stage filtration system. This advanced filtration captures dust, allergens, and other particulate matter, promoting cleaner air circulation which is particularly beneficial for those with allergies or respiratory conditions.

In summary, the Bryant A07049 and A07048 mini-split systems deliver versatility, energy efficiency, and user-friendly operation. Their modern design, quiet performance, and advanced technologies make them excellent choices for individuals or businesses looking to enhance comfort while being mindful of energy consumption. Whether used for supplementary heating or cooling, these units are engineered to meet a variety of climate control needs effectively.
