up to 4 supportmodulescanbe connectedto provide temperatureaveragingin a largeareaor for severalzonesbeing controlledby the samesystem. The maximumcumulative distancebetweenthe supportmodulesandthethermostatis 1000ft.

CAUTION: Make sure that there is no power to the support modulesby removing the thermostat from the subbase.

Dipswitch 3 -Temperature Sensor1

Eachsupportmodulehastwo sensors,SensorI andSensor2. Determinewhetheryou wantthe SensorI input to monitor or controltemperature. If dipswitchnumber3 is in the "off' position,it will monitor thetemperature. If the support module is setto Address 1 and the Sensor1 input is setto "monitor", then the monitored temperature will be displayedas the remote temperature in the lower left hand corner of the thermostat. Otherwise, the monitored value will only be available through the software that supports this specificfunction.

If dipswitch3 is setto the "on" position,it will usethe reported temperatureto control thethermostat. The sensorcontrol temperaturewill be displayedon thethermostat. If multiple supportmodulesaredaisychainedtogether, all of the sensors setto control will be averagedandthe averagetemperaturewill be displayedon the thermostat.

Dinswitch 4 - Temperature Sensor2

Determinewhetheryou want the Sensor2 input to monitor or controltemperature. If dipswitchnumber4 is in the "off" position,it will monitor thetemperature.

If dipswitch4 is setto the "on" position, it will usethereported temperatureto controlthe thermostat. The sensorcontrol temperaturewill be displayedon the thermostat. If multiple supportmodulesaredaisychainedtogether, all of the sensors setto control will be averagedandthe averagetemperaturewill be displayedon the thermostat.

Dioswitch 6 - TIff2 or Onboard Sensor Determinewhetheryou wantthe Sensor1 input to usethe temperaturesensedby the onboardthermistoror to usethe input from a remotesensor(i.e. flush mount sensoror duct/outdoor sensor). If dipswitchnumber6 is in the "off'position it will use theremotesensorinputswired to the TIm terminals. If the dipswitchis in the "on" position,it will usethe temperature input from the onboardthermistor. This option only existsfor the Sensor1 input andcanstill beconfiguredto monitor or control. The thermostat will not display temperature (Sensor1 or Sensor2) valuesif dipswitch 6 is set to TIff2 without wiring a sensorto the TIm terminal.
