WARNING:

Never install a Fireboy system on the underside of a hatch cover or on an access door that may open or separate in an explosion

Never install the actuator of a Fireboy system in close proximity to exhaust manifolds or turbochargers. Radiated heat may cause premature actuation

Never install the actuator of a Fireboy system below the cylinder (Upside down)

Never install a Fireboy system where it will trap or be in direct contact with water

Never install a Fireboy unit in an compartment larger than its volume rating

Never combine the volume rating of two or more Fireboy units to protect a given compartment

This device shall not be installed or used in aircraft and/or racing vehicles

Diesel powered craft must also install the Automatic Engine Shutdown system or this system may not extinguish the fire (See Additional Equipment)

When specifications listed on the nameplate label differ from this manual, the information listed on the nameplate label is correct.

CG2 and MA2 series extinguishers discharge automatically at a temperature of 175°F. MA2 series extinguishers discharge manually at any temperature.
