MODEL SELECTION GUIDE.

Ground water temperature factor.

The temperature of incoming ground water (cold water inlet temperature) varies greatly throughout the U.S. and also fluctuates with change of season. The temperature of water as it enters the water heater will determine the amount of “temperature rise” required to achieve the desired hot water outlet temperature (120°F is recommended).

The best way to measure your incoming ground water temperature is to use a thermometer to measure cold water tem- perature during the coldest season

of the year. To simplify the process, use this map to determine whether your installation location is in the Southern Zone, Central Zone or Northern Zone.

Peak hot water demand.

The next step is to determine how much hot water will be required during its busiest usage period (“peak demand”). To use the chart, consider all appliances and fixtures that use hot water, including lavatory faucets, kitchen faucets, washing machines, dishwashers, showers and bath- tubs. Be sure to determine how

many appliances and fixtures will be used at the same time during peak demand.

Gas-Fired Water Heaters specifications

State Industries is a leading manufacturer specializing in gas-fired water heaters, designed to provide reliable and efficient hot water solutions for residential and commercial applications. Their product line is recognized for its robust construction, innovative technologies, and energy-efficient performance.

One of the primary features of State's gas-fired water heaters is their exceptional recovery rate. This is crucial for households with high hot water demand. Many models are equipped with high-output burners that significantly reduce recovery time, ensuring that users have a continuous supply of hot water for various needs, from showers to dishwashing.

Another standout characteristic of State Industries' gas water heaters is their advanced insulation technology. The use of high-density foam insulation helps to minimize heat loss, enhancing energy efficiency. This not only lowers energy bills but also contributes to a reduced environmental footprint, making these water heaters an eco-friendly choice.

State Industries incorporates innovative controls and safety features in their gas-fired models. Many units come with an electronic ignition system which eliminates the need for a standing pilot light, thereby improving efficiency and reducing gas consumption. Additionally, safety controls such as the temperature and pressure relief valve ensure optimal operation and prevent potential risks associated with water heating.

The build quality of State's gas-fired water heaters is another significant benefit. Constructed with durable materials, many models feature a glass-lined tank that resists corrosion, extending the unit's lifespan. This reliability makes State’s products a preferred choice for many homeowners and businesses looking for long-term hot water solutions.

Furthermore, their gas-fired water heaters come in a range of sizes and configurations to fit various installation needs, whether it be for a compact space or a high-demand setting. The versatility of the product line ensures that there is always a suitable option for every requirement.

In conclusion, State Industries gas-fired water heaters stand out in the market due to their high recovery rates, energy-efficient designs, safety features, and durable construction.
