1. For best effect:

set the stitch length as you desire.

--you may need to tighten the top thread tension slightly.

--allow the needle to just clear thelolded edge ot the tabdc when it zigzags.

2.If you sew rows ol shell stitches, space the rows 1/2"" apart.

You can sew shell stitch on knits or soft silky wovens in any direction.
