Iniziare a decorare

Disporre a strati il tessuto del lavoro e il materiale che verrà feltrato per creare la decorazione. Veriﬁcare che il pezzo più piccolo da feltrare sia posizionato sul lato corretto del lavoro (dritto o rovescio).

Il tessuto della decorazione può essere posizionato sul dritto o sul rovescio del lavoro. Fare prima qualche prova su degli scampoli per veriﬁcare quale si presta meglio al lavoro che si intende creare.

Posizionare gli strati da feltrare insieme sotto la copertura trasparente per tessuto con protezione ago. Regolare l’altezza necessaria afﬁnché il lavoro possa muoversi liberamente sotto la copertura trasparente (vedere pagina 33).

Spostare il tessuto in tutte le direzioni così che gli aghi possano intrecciare insieme gli strati.

Una volta completata la decorazione, gli aghi si arresteranno automaticamente in posizione sollevata e usciranno dall’area del lavoro. Poiché gli aghi si arrestano sempre nella posizione di sollevamento massimo, il posizionamento e la rimozione dei lavori dall’area di feltratura risulta estremamente semplice. Non si correrà mai il rischio di rompere gli aghi posizionando o rimuovendo il lavoro.
