INSTALLATION:
1.Determine the proper window guard for each window using Window Guard Positioning Chart. .
2.Mount window guards:
Note: window guards have holes around perimeter for permanent mounting. These holes are not used with hinge kit. They also come flat in shipping. The guard must be

2.Make sure guard is centered on window.
3.Attach hinge to lower door panel with #10 x ½” Stainless Sheet Metal Screws.
4.Mark upper aluminum bracket location on window frame and remove from window guard.
5.Attach aluminum bracket onto window frame with #10 x ½” Flat Head Sheet Metal Screws.
6.Hinge up window guard and reattach to bracket with
Note 1: After the 1/8” holes are drilled in metal doorframe, it is helpful to indent the holes inward with a punch. This will enable the mounting screws to grab better.
Note 2: The machine screws for upper mounting plate must be removed from the window guard in order to access mounting screws. Placement of upper mount plate is critical in order for machine screws to attach properly.
