NEEDLE, FABRIC, THREAD SELECTION GUIDE

NEEDLE SIZE		FABRICS			THREAD
9-11 (70-80)	Lightweight fabrics-thin cottons, voile,				Light-duty thread in cotton, nylon,
	silk, muslin, interlocks, cotton knits,				polyester or	cotton	wrapped
	tricot, jerseys, crepes, woven polyester,				polyester.

Please Note:

-In general, fine threads and needles are used for sewing fine fabrics, and thicker threads are used for sewing heavy fabrics.

-Always test thread and needle size on a small piece of fabric which will be used for actual sewing.

-Use the same thread for needle and bobbin.

-Ball point needles are recommended for working with knit fabrics.
