Faucets made of leaded brass alloys may contribute small amounts of lead to water that is allowed to stand in contact with the brass. The amount of lead contributed by any faucet is highest when the faucet is new. The following steps may reduce potential exposure to lead from faucets and other parts of the plumbing system:

Always run the water for a few seconds prior to use for drinking or cooking

Use only cold water for drinking or cooking

If you wish to flush the entire plumbing system of water that has been standing in the pipes or other fittings, run the cold water until the temperature of the water drops, indicating water coming from the outside main

If you are concerned about lead in your water, have your water tested by a certified laboratory in your area

Known for its blend of quality and aesthetic appeal, the Moen 8303 is an ideal choice for both traditional and contemporary kitchens. With its elegant chrome finish, this faucet adds a touch of elegance to any sink area while resisting tarnish and corrosion, ensuring a long-lasting shine.

One of the standout features of the Moen 8303 is its high-arc spout, which provides ample clearance for large pots and pans, making cooking and cleaning hassle-free. The spout rotates 360 degrees, allowing for easy maneuvering and versatility. Switching between these modes is seamless, thanks to the easy-to-use button placement on the spray head.

Durability is a hallmark of the Moen brand, and the 8303 model is no exception. It boasts a solid construction that ensures longevity, while the Duralast cartridge technology helps to reduce leak points, prolonging the lifespan of the faucet. This design consideration minimizes maintenance and enhances reliability for everyday use.

Installation of the Moen 8303 is user-friendly, with a streamlined process that requires minimal tools. It is designed to fit standard three-hole configurations, making it a versatile option for most kitchen setups. Additionally, Moen provides a limited lifetime warranty, underscoring the durability and quality of the product.
