■When used in rooms with high ceilings, it is recommended that a ceiling fan or circulator be installed to improve air circulation and temperature variations within the room.
■The
■Avoid using air conditioning units in areas where they are exposed to oil or oily smoke (cooking areas or machine shops). Oil which adheres to the heat exchangers will cause reduced efficiency, generate mist and may damage plastic components.
■Avoid exposure to
■Rated noise levels were derived from tests in an anechoic test room. Noise levels may therefore be greater depending on the surroundings, application, and/or manner of installation.
■Avoid using air conditioners in rooms with high humidity because excessive condensation will occur as the air cools.
■To avoid fire hazards, do not use air conditioners in areas where inflammable gases are present.
■Odours for buildings, cosmetics, perspiration, cigarette smoke, etc., may accumulate in the heat exchanger and emanate from the air conditioner. This is not indicative of mechanical trouble.
