Oven temperature chart

The chart below is intended to help you use your oven. If you are using a gas oven for the first time or if a recipe says 'cook at 350oF' or 'use a moderately hot oven' you can use the chart to find out what gas mark to use. The temperatures are only a guide they are not actual temperatures in the oven. This chart cannot be used to check actual oven temperatures.
