Frozen Tropical Margarita

Bring the tropics home with this sweet and powerful play on the classic margarita.

Makes about four 8-ounce servings

12 ounces tequila

8ounces Triple Sec

8ounces orange juice

8ounces pineapple juice

12 ounces simple syrup*

4 ounces coconut milk

5 cups standard-size ice cubes (about 25 to 30 cubes)

Put all the ingredients in the order listed, into the jar of your Cuisinart® PowerEdge® 1.3 HP Blender. Cover and run on the Ice Crush function for 20 seconds. Turn the power off and serve immediately.

*Simple syrup is sugar dissolved in water. To make, place equal parts water and granulated sugar in a saucepan set over medium- low heat. Syrup is done once the sugar has dissolved. Cool completely before using.

1cup fresh lime juice 1¼ cups tequila

1cup Triple Sec

¼cup simple syrup*

7cups standard-size ice cubes (about 35 to 40 ice cubes)

Put all the ingredients, in the order listed, into the jar of your Cuisinart® PowerEdge® 1.3 HP Blender. Cover and run on the Ice Crush function for 35 seconds. Turn the power off and serve immediately.

Frozen Espresso Martini

Makes about seven 8-ounce servings

1cup brewed espresso, chilled

1cup vanilla-flavored vodka

2⁄3 cup Kahlúa®

1⁄3 cup Tia Maria®

6cups standard size ice cubes (about 30 to 35 ice cubes)
