1.) Select the proper insert for your particular iPod® model from the “Chart” and place the insert in the docking area as shown.

If you are using one of the 30GB or 60GB (5G) iPod® s with video capability, or the (2G) iPod® nano use the inserts that were included with the iPod® s when you bought them.

2.) Set the HOLD switch of your iPod® to the “Off” position to unlock the click- wheel navigation controls.

3.) Place your iPod® into the insert in the docking area and make sure that it is fully seated on the connector.

4.) Press the iPod/Shuffle button on the top cabinet of this system, or on the remote control, to turn the Power on.

NOTE: It is not necessary to press the Power button first.

5.) The display will show either the “iPod” or “iPodShuffle” indicators.

Press the iPod/Shuffle button Until the display is showing “iPod”.

NOTE: The display indicator must match the type iPod® you are using or no sound will be heard.
