1. USING YOUR SANDWICH TOASTER
1Before first use clean the surface of the cooking plate with a damp cloth and then wipe again with a dry cloth. Oil the cooking plate with olive oil, butter, margarine, or any cooking fat.
2Insert the plug into a suitable mains supply socket.
3Ensure the appliance is placed horizontal on the worktop.
4Turn the power on. RED indicator light will come on.
5Prepare the sandwich while waiting for the toaster to heat up.
6After 4 to 6 minutes the toaster will be ready as indicated by the GREEN light going on.
7Open the sandwich toaster and place in the sandwich. Be careful of the hot surfaces.
8For golden brown toasted sandwiches, place the buttered sides of the bread onto the cooking plates.
9Close both halves of the sandwich toaster without placing too much force on the sandwich. If too much force is required to close the sandwich toaster, the clip may come loose or break during toasting.
10Keep the sandwich toaster closed during toasting.
11Toasting time will depend on the type of bread used and personal preferences.
12After toasting is complete open the toaster and remove sandwich with a plastic or wooden utensil. Never use a metal or sharp object, as this will damage the

2. CARE AND CLEANING
1Always turn the power off, remove the plug from the power supply outlet and allow the product to cool completely before cleaning.
2Wipe the interior as well as the side of the cooking plates with an absorbent tissue, paper towel or soft cloth. Never use an abrasive to clean the appliance. Clean after each use to prevent any caking of fillings.

4Wipe the outside of the toaster with a slightly dampened cloth and polish with a soft dry cloth.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE OR THE CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
