How to use your Dishwasher

First of all.

-Turn on the water supply tap completely.

-Add the correct amount of detergent.

-Load the baskets correctly.

-Check that the spray arms rotate freely.

-Close the door securely.

-Turn knob "A" to ON you will hear a short beep. The display turns on and 3 dashes appear, these indi- cate that the dishwasher is now awaitinginstructions.

Select the wash cycle. Turn knob "M" until the indicator is inlinewiththenumberorsymbolfor the cycle required.Select the wash cycle most suitable for the type of dishes to wash (see ‘Programme Chart’).

After a few seconds, you will hear a short beep: the wash cycle has started and indicator "G" displays the cycle phase starting symbol . The counter "L" will show the amount of time left until the end of the wash cycle.

- Do not expect a precise count- down as the wash cycle starts with an estimated cycle time that is up- dated as the cycle progresses and is also affected by such things as water temperature and degree of soiling).

Indicator lights.

Your dishwasher is provided with anindicatorlight "G"with4symbols whichcomeonastheappliancecar- ries out each phase of the selected programme.

These indicator lights represent each phase corresponding to:

pre-wash, wash, rinses, drying. Atalltimesyourdishwashertellsyou what phase it is at.

Modifying a wash cycle in progress.

Ifyouhavechosenthewrongcycle

-You can modify the wash cycle, if it has only just started. Turn knob "M"totheResetpositionandaftera few seconds you will hear 4 beeps. Indicator light "G" will go out and 3 dashes appear, this indicates all settings have been cancelled. You are now free to re-set the correct wash cycle.

You've left out a dish?

Interrupt the wash cycle by turning knob "A" to OFF, open the door and insert the dish you had forgot- ten, close the door and turn knob "A" to ON again.

The cycle will start up from where you interrupted it.

Cycle end

The end of the wash cycle is indi- catedby2beepsand ENDflashes up on the display.

Turnknob"M"totheReset position and the 3 dashes for programming cancellationwillappear.

Turn knob "A" to OFF to turn the applianceoff.

Turn off the water tap.

Wait a few minutes before unload- ing the dishes: they are very hot! If youwaitalittlewhile,theydrybetter due to the steam.

Empty the lower basket first.

Delaying the start of a programme.

Whenyouhaveloadedthedishes, youcanchoosewhentostartyour dishwasherbeforesettingthewash cycledesired.

Pressbutton"P"andyoucandelay thestartofthewashcycleby1to9 hours. Press the button once, a beep will sound and the wording “09h”willcomeupionthedisplay. Theneachtimeyoupressthebutton abeepwillsoundandthehourswill decreasebyonehouruntiluntilthe delayis01h.Ifyoupressthebutton againthedelayedstartiscancelled and3dashesappearonthedisplay. Onceyouhavesetthedelayedstart time,selectthewashcycleonknob “M” after a beep sounds indicator light"H"flashesonthedisplay and thecountdownbegins(indicatedon thedisplayonehouratatime).

Thedisplaywillkeepyouinformed of the countdown progress at all times.

During the countdown you can modifythedelaybypressingbutton “P”repeatedlywithoutresettingthe washcycle.

Ifyouhavechangedyourmindand wish to start the wash cycle immediately,pressbutton“P”until the3dashesappearonthedisplay toindicatedelayedstartiscancelled. Indicatorlight“H”willgooutandthe cyclewillstartatthesoundofabeep.

Half load.

Yourdishwasheralsoallowsyouto washhalfaload(usingonebasket), tosavewater,electricityanddeter- gent(useonlyhalftheamount).

Beforesettingawashcycle,press button "I". Each time you press it, youwillhearabeepandsymbol

(upperbasket)andsymbol

(lower basket) appear on indicator"N".Pressthebuttononce moretoresetthebasketselection andthedishwasherwillagainbeset tousebothbaskets.

“Extra” drying

If you want your dishes to be perfectlydry:

Openthedoor,turnknob“M”tothe Resetposition,selectthebasket/s to be used and delayed start if required.

Startthewashcycleasnormal. Indicator“G”willshowsymbol when it has reached the drying phase. The symbol will flash for approximately 4 seconds and the wordOFFappearsonthedisplay (extradryingdisabled).

Ifyouimmediatelypressbutton“I”, youwillhearaprolongedbeepand the word ON will appear on the displayandextradryinghasbeen selected.

Onceyouhavecompletedallyour selections, shut the door. You will hearabeepandthewashcyclewill start,eitherimmediatelyorafterthe delayedstartifselected.

Remember that with extra drying selected the programme will last longer.

There's been a power failure or you opened the dishwasher door

The wash cycle stops and then restarts when the electricity comes backonorwhenyouclosethedoor.
