IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

4.Close supervision is necessarywhenany applianceis usednearchildren. This appliance is not to be used by children.
5.Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
6.Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Contact Customer Service (see warranty) for examination, repair, or mechanical adjustment.
7.The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appli- ance manufacturer may cause injuries.
8.Do not use outdoors.
9.Do not let cord hang over the edge of table or counter,or touch hot surfaces.
10.Do not place on or neara hot gas or electricburner,or in a heatedoven.
11.Extreme caution must be used when moving fryer containing hot oil. Always use oven mitts or hot pads.
12.Always attachplugto appliancefirst,thenplug cordin thewall outlet.To disconnect, turn controlto “OFF,”then removeplug fromwalloutlet.
13.Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
14.Periodically check the feet for looseness. If loose, retighten the screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
CAUTION: Overtighening can result in stripping of screws or cracking of feet.
