ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

The cord and plug of this microwave oven must be connected to a separate circuit rated at 120 Volts, 60 Hertz, 20 Amps, Single Phase. No other appliance should share the circuit with this microwave oven. If it does, the branch circuit fuse may overload and cause either reduced heating or a blown fuse.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an escape wire for electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug (Fig. 1). The plug must be connected to an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.

WARNING: IMPROPER USE OF THE GROUNDING PLUG CAN RESULT IN A RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.

Consult a qualified electrician or service person if these grounding instructions are not completely understood or if there is doubt that this appliance is properly grounded.

If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only

athree-wire extension cord that has a three-blade grounding plug and a properly grounded three-slot receptacle that will accept the plug on the microwave oven. The marked rating of the extension cord MUST be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of the microwave oven.
