Use of Slicer/Shredder

The continuous shredder attachment has3been de4 signed for slicing, shredding and/or grating of vegeta bles, as well slicing/shredding of soft cheeses and sausages or meat and grating of vegetables and ha cheese.

Before beginning to use this or any other attachmen make sure that the power unit is on a smooth, cle suitable work surface and switched to Off position, •O/Off" and that you have removed the motor drive cover.

1.Before using the continuous shredder for the first time, it is recommended that the cover closure/ pusher, cover, discs,disc holder/slinger and hous4 ing be washed. All components of the continuous shredder are dishwasher safe. After washing, rinse well and dry before using.

CAUTION

The blades on the discs are very sharp.

Handle with care.

The continuous shredder is used in mode 2, see table1. To place the continuous shredder on the power unit, the arm must be rotated to the horizon position.

2.Depress the release button, see 4a, and move th arm as necessary so that the arm is horizontal. Ifyou have not already done so, remove the mot drive cover from the mid4speed drive, as shown infigure 10.

	a. Insert		the	disc	holder/slinger into	the	housing.

b. Select disc to be used and making sure that th side desired is facing upward, place it on disc holder.
