7.Conexión de la línea de agua a la válvula de cierre: Coloque la tuerca ajustada sobre la línea de agua de

cobre o plástico, luego el accesorio de compresión e introduzca el extremo de cobre o plástico en la válvula de cierre. Asegúrese de que el extremo de la tubería entra bien dentro de la válvula. Ajuste (pero no

demasiado) la tuerca. Cumpla las descripciones especificadas en el Código de Reglamentaciones de

Massachussets 248 de la Norma Federal de Tuberías de Massachussets. Las válvulas tipo montura no están

permitidas en Massachussets. Consulte a un fontanero autorizado si no está seguro del armado.

8. Limpie el suministro de la línea de agua: Abra el

suministro principal de agua hasta que el agua de la tubería esté transparente y limpia. Cierre la válvula de

agua después de haber usado el agua durante aproximadamente 30 segundos o 1 minuto.

9. Conecte la línea de suministro de agua hasta el refrigerador:

Nota: Antes de conectar la línea de agua hasta el refrigerador, asegúrese de que la línea de agua no esté cubriendo el cable de energía que va al refrigerador o el tomacorriente.

(1) Ajuste la línea de suministro de agua con la

válvula de agua del refrigerador deslizando la tuerca por el extremo de la línea de agua.

(2) Luego, como se muestra en la figura, conecte el extremo de la línea de suministro de agua con la válvula de agua; ajuste la tuerca de la línea de suministro de agua con una llave francesa.
