Pre-heating cups

In order to allow the flavor of the coffee to develop and be retained, the cups should be pre-heated.

The smaller the volume of coffee/espresso and the thicker the cup, the more important it is to pre-heat the cup.

^Turn the cappuccinatore dial to ￿.

^Place a cup under the cappuccinatore.

^Turn the valve to the I symbol.

^When enough water has flowed into the cup, turn the valve to the 0 symbol.

^Leave the cup for about one minute, then pour the water away.

The cup is now pre-heated.
