Before you call for service

Please read the following pages before you call for service.

You can correct many of your appliances problems yourself using the checklists on the following pages.

Your appliance is capable of diagnosing its own problems. If it has a problem it will beep and display the service (spanner) icon to alert you.

Also check that:

Your appliance is correctly installed.

You are familiar with its normal operation.

If your appliance beeps for help and the service light (spanner) is flashing:

1Turn your appliance off at the wall.

2 Wait 5 minutes and turn it back on.

3 Check your appliance is level and installed correctly (refer to installation instructions).

4 If the fault re-occurs call your Fisher & Paykel Dealer

If the appliance will still not work, call your Fisher & Paykel Dealer or Authorized Service Agent to arrange a service visit (refer to page 53).
