Replacing the light bulbs.

Setting either or both controls to 0 does not remove power to the light circuit.

Refrigerator Compartment--Upper Light

O Unplug the refrigeratol:

The bulbs are located at tile top of the

Tabs

compartment,

inside the

light

shield.

 

On

some

models, a screw at tile front of

 

the

light

shield

will have

to be

removed.

To remove the light shield, press in on the tabs on tile sides of the shield and

slide forward and out.

After replacing the bulb witb an appliance bulb of tile same or lower wattage, replace tile light shield and screws (on some models). When

replacing the light shield, make sure tbat tile tabs at the hack of tile shield fit

into tile slots at the back of the light shield housing.

Plug tile refrigerator back in.

Refrigerator Compartment--Lower Light

This light is Iocatedabovethe top drawer

Unplug the refrigeraton

Remove tbe convertible meat drawer control knob by pulling straight out.

Lift tbe light shield tip and pull it out.

Freezer Compartment

Unplug tbe refrigerator.

ORemove the shelf just above tbe light shield. (The shell:will be easier to

remove if it is emptied first.) On some

models, a screw at tbe top of the light shield will need to be removed.

_To remove the light shield, press in on the sides, and lift tip and out.

After replacing the bulb witb an appliance bulb of tbe same or lower

wattage, replace the shield and tbe knob.

O Plug the refl'igerator back in.

_ Replace the bulb with an appliance bulb of the same or lower wattage, and reinstall the light shield. When reinstalling the light shield, make sure the top tabs snap securely

into place. Replace the screw (on some models).

_ Reinstall the shelf and plug the refrigerator back in.

Dispenser

Unplug tbe refrigerator.

_The bulb is located on tbe dispenser tinder tbe control panel.

Replace the bulb with a bulb of the same size and wattage.

Plug the refl'igerator back in.

Remove the light bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
