About the automaticicemaker.

A newly installed refrigerator may take 12 to 24 hours to begin making ice.

Ondispensermodels, to access ice or reach the

power switch:

Automatic Icemaker

The icemaker will produce seven cubes per cycle----approximately100-130 cubes

in a 24-hour period, depending on freezer compartment temperature, room temperature, number of"door openings and otber use conditions.

K the reliigerator is operated before the

water connection is made to tbe icemake_; set tbe power switch in the 0 (off) position.

Specialnotesaboutdispensermodels:

_ Dispenser models bare a tilt-out ice bin. The bin can be tilted out as shown in

the illustrations, and it will hold itself up while you take ice out or turn tbe icemaker power switch on and olE Be sure to put tim bin back in place before closing the door.

_ To restore your ice level from an empty

bucket stage, the following steps axe recommended:

oLift the bin, then pullit forward until the bin stops,

oLowerthe bin to access ice or reach the power switch.

NOTE: In order to take furl advantage of the tilt-out ice bin, only store items on the sheff below the ice bin that

are no taller than the lowest point on the bin.

When the refrigerator has been connected to tbe water supply, set tbe power switch to tbe / (on) position.

You will hear a buzzing sound each time tbe icemaker fills witb water.

Throw away the first few batches of ice to allow tbe water line to cleal:

Be sure nothing interferes witb the sweep

of tbe feeler arm.

When the bin fills to tbe level of the lieder

arm, tbe icemaker will stop producing ice. It is normal for several cubes to be

joined togetber.

If ice is not used fi'equently, old ice cubes will become cloudy, taste stale and shrink.

Removing Ice Bin (dispenser models)

Set tbe power switch to the 0 (Off)position

has fallen into tbe bin, dispense 3 to 4 cubes.

After an additional 6 hours, dispense 3 to 4 cubes again.

These steps will restore your ice level in the shortest amount of time.

NOTE:Inhomeswith lower4hat>averagewater pressure,youmayheartheicemakercyclemultiple timeswhenmakingonebatchof ice.

_ Lift the bin, then pull it forward until the bin stops.

_ Lift and puff forward again to remove the bin,

Whenreplacingthebin,be sure to press it firmly into place. If it does not go all tbe way back, remove it and rotate the drive mechanism 1/4 rum. Then push tbe bin back again.
