Troubleshooting tips
Save time and money! Review the charts on the following pages first and you may not need to call for service.
Possible Causes
Refrigerator in defrost cycle. Either or both controls set to 0. Refrigerator is unplugged.
The fuse is blown/circuit
breaker is tripped.
Refrigerator is in the showroom mode.
Rollers need adjusting.
Normal when refrigerator
is first plugged in.
Often occurs when large amounts of food are
placed in ref "l_emtor.
Door left open.
Hot weather or frequent
door openings.
Temperature controls set at the coldest
setting,
Temperature control not set cold enough.
Warm weather or frequent
door openings.
Door left open.
Door left open.
Too frequent or too long door openings.
Automatic energy saver system circulates warm liquid around front edge of freezer comparmaent.
Icemaker power switch is in the 0 (Off)position.
Water supply turned off or
not connected.
Frcezer comparmaent too warm.
Piled up cubes in the storage bin cause the icemaker
to shut off.
Ice cubes stuck in icemaker.
(Green power light on
icemaker blinking).
What To Do
•Wait about 30 minutes for defi'ost cycle to end.
•Set the conn'ols re a temperature setting.
•Push the plug completely into the outlet.
•Replace fuse or reset the breakm:
•Unplug the refrigerator and plug it back in.

•Wait 24 hours for the refiigerator re completely cool down.
•This is normal.
•Check to see if package is holding door open.
•This is normal.

•Set the temperature control one step coldm:

•This helps prevent condensation on the outside.
•Set the power switch re the I [on) position.

•Wait 24 hours for the refrigerator to completely cool down.
•Level cubes by hand.
•Turn off the icemakm; remove cubes and turn the icemaker back on.
