USO DEL REFRIGERADOR

CIRCULACIÓN APROPIADA DE AIRE

Para obtener temperaturas estables, el aire debe fluir entre las secciones del congelador y refrigerador. Como se muestra en la ilustración de abajo, el aire frío entra através de la parte superior del congelador y circula hacia abajo. Del fondo del congealdor el aire forzado hasta la parte superior del refrigerador. El aire entra através de la ventila superior, después circula en la parte inferior donde vuelve al congelador.

MULTI FLOW

El ventilador de enfriamiento es más poderoso y efectivo que otros. Esto se puede notar considera- blemente cada vez que se introduce comida al compartimento del refrigerador

Si se introduce agua u o tra sustancia a las ventilas,

la eficiencia disminuirá. Además, si el sello esta dañado la eficiencia disminuirá ya que el aire frío se escapa.

Deje estos parámetros durante 24 h (un día) para estabilizar el refrigerador. Después ajuste

las temperaturas de los compartimentos a su gusto.

Modelo Medio (Identifica el control de tu refrigerador)

Control del Refrigerador: Posición 1 a 7, representa

el siguiente rango de temperatura (32 °F a 47 °F o 0 °C a 8 °C)

A mayor valor de ajuste, el compartimiento del refrigerador

estará mas frío.

Control del Congelador: Posición 1 a 7 (-6°F a 8°F o -21°C a -13°C)

Cuando el valor de ajuste sea mayor, el congelador se encontrará más frío.

Ice Plus:

Presione el botón Ice Plus. El LED se encenderá. Esta función permanecerá activada durante 24 h, lo lo que intensificará la velocidad de enfriamiento del congelador e incrementará la producción de hielo.

FREEZER TEMP

No bloquee ninguna de estas ventilas de aire fresco

con paquetes de comida. Si las ventilas se bloquean, el flujo de aire se interrumpe, lo que puede ocasionar problemas de humedad y temperatura.

IMPORTANTE: Debido a que el aire circula entre ambas secciones del refrigerador, los olores pueden transferirse fácilmente. Ud. debe limpiar ambas secciones para eliminar olores. Para prevenir la transferencia de olores o resequedad en los alimentos, cubra adecuadamente la comida. (Vea la sección Guía de Almacenamiento de Alimentos para mayores detalles)

ALARMA DE LA PUERTA

Con esta característica usted escuchará una alarma cuando la puerta del congelador o del refrigerador no es cerrada dentro de 1 min después de que se abre. Estos tonos se repiten cada 30 s.

Esta alarma es cancelada cuando la puerta del congelador o del refrigerador es cerrada correctamente.

Su refrigerador cuenta con dos controles que le permiten

regular la temperatura en los compartimentos del refri-

gerador y congelador.

CÓMO REGULAR LOS AJUSTES DEL CONTROL

Antes de introducir alimentos a su refrigerador, deje que éste se enfríe primero, dejando pasar 24 h desde el momento en que usted conecta el refrigerador. El ajuste medio indicado en la sección anterior corresponden a un enfriamiento normal de un refrigerador. Los controles han sido ajustados de manera correcta, de manera que la leche y jugo se encuentran tan fríos como Ud. lo desea y los mantecados tengan una consistencia firme.

El Control del Refrigerador funciona como un termostato (para las secciones del refrigerador y congelador). Mientras más alto se encuentre el ajuste, mayor será el tiempo de operación del compresor para mantener las temperaturas más frías. El control del Congelador ajusta el flujo de aire frío del congelador hacia el refrigerador.

Si Ud. necesita ajustar las temperaturas en el refrigerador o congelador, comience ajustando el refrigerador. Espere 24 h antes de realizar este ajuste para verificar la

temperatura del congelador. Si ésta se encuentra tibia o muy fría, entonces ajuste el control del congelador.

Primero ajuste el CONTROL DEL REFR IGERADOR y el CONTROL DEL CONGELADOR en la posición número “4”.
