-The refrigerant circuit has been tested for leaks.

-The appliance complies with current safety regulations and EC directives 73/23/EEC and 89/336/EEC.

We recommend cleaning the appliance before turning it ON for the first time. See Cleaning. Turn ON the appliance several hours before loading it with frozen food for the first time. Do not load with frozen food until the temperature shows approximately 0°F (-18°C).

!WARNING

Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Children must not climb, sit or stand on the shelves, drawers or door.

Turning the Appliance ON and

OFF - Figure 1

Clean the appliance before turning it on for the first time. See Cleaning.

Allow the appliance to operate approximately two hours before placing food in it. DO NOT place frozen food in the freezer until the temperature shows at least 0°F. The refrigerator and freezer compartments can be operated separately.

1.Turning ON: Press the Refrigerator ON/OFF button (Fig. 1, 9) and the Freezer ON/OFF button (Fig. 1, 3) so the Temperature Displays (Fig. 1, 1) and (Fig. 1, 7) light up or “flash.”

Changing the Temperature

Display - Figure 1

The temperature reading can be displayed in either degrees Fahrenheit or degrees Celsius.

When the appliance is first turned on or after a power failure, the refrigerator Temperature Display and Setting Display (Fig. 1, 7) will show the set temperature display, either degrees Fahrenheit or degrees Celsius, for five seconds. Then, the actual temperature is displayed.

To change the temperature display:

1.Press both the Alarm button (Fig. 1, 5) and the DOWN Refrigerator Temperature button (Fig. 1, 8) for seven seconds. The set temperature display will blink six times.

2.While the temperature display is blinking, press both buttons again and the temperature display will change.

3.After making the change, the new temperature display will blink six times. Then both temperature displays will show the actual temperature value.

Setting the Temperature - Figure 1

The appliance is pre-set for normal operation. We recommend temperatures of 41°F (5°C) in the refrigerator and 0°F (-18°C) in the freezer.

To reduce the temperature:

Press the DOWN button on the left to reduce the refrigerator temperature (Fig. 1, 8) and the DOWN button on the right to reduce the freezer temperature (Fig. 1, 2).
