Make sure that there is at least 750 mm between the hob burners and any shelving placed vertically above them.

This type of appliance also requires a cut 3 mm deep in the top with the dimensions shown in figure 2 (detail A).

CIR900X specifications

The Smeg CIR900X is a state-of-the-art induction cooktop that combines cutting-edge technology with a sleek aesthetic, making it a focal point in any modern kitchen. Known for its efficient cooking capabilities and user-friendly features, the CIR900X is designed to meet the demands of both novice cooks and culinary enthusiasts.

One of the standout features of the Smeg CIR900X is its induction cooking technology. This method uses electromagnetic energy to rapidly heat cookware, providing precise temperature control and quick cooking times. The result is a powerful heating element that responds immediately when adjusted, allowing users to bring water to boil faster than traditional electric or gas cooktops. This responsiveness not only enhances cooking efficiency but also improves safety, as the cooktop surface remains cool to the touch, reducing the risk of burns.

The CIR900X boasts an intuitive touchscreen control panel that simplifies operation. Featuring multiple cooking zones, each with its own independent settings, users can easily prepare different dishes simultaneously. The cooktop also includes a booster function for each zone, providing an extra burst of heat for rapid cooking when needed. For added convenience, the simmering mode allows for gentle heat, perfect for delicate sauces or warming dishes.

Safety is a top priority in the design of the Smeg CIR900X. The cooktop includes features such as automatic shut-off, which activates after a prolonged period of inactivity, and child lock settings to prevent accidental activation, making it suitable for families with children. Additionally, the residual heat indicator alerts users when the surface is still hot, enhancing overall safety in the kitchen.

The smooth ceramic glass surface of the CIR900X not only offers a modern look but also makes cleaning a breeze. Spills can be easily wiped away, and the lack of grates or burners prevents food from becoming trapped, maintaining a hygienic cooking environment.

In terms of energy efficiency, induction cooktops like the Smeg CIR900X consume less energy than traditional cooking methods, making them an environmentally friendly choice. The ability to control energy usage more precisely also allows for reduced electricity costs.

Overall, the Smeg CIR900X combines advanced induction cooking technology with a host of features geared toward convenience, safety, and efficiency. Its modern design and intuitive controls make it a perfect addition to any contemporary kitchen, appealing to those who appreciate both form and function in their cooking appliances.
