CD/MD Changer Operations

Selecting tracks with the KEY PAD

This function displays the KEY PAD on the screen and allows you to select and repeat tracks you wish to listen to.

Press the [KEY PAD] button to display the KEY PAD.

Direct track selection

1.Touch the [SRCH] key to switch the KEY PAD.

2.Touch the [0] ~ [9] key corresponding with the track you desired. When you touch the wrong number([0] ~ [9] key), you can cancel that to touch the [DEL] key.

Track-down

1.Press the [a] button to move back to the beginning of the current track.

2.Press the [a] button twice to move to the beginning of the previous track.

When the panel is open, the same operation is also available by using the [a] button in the panel.

Fast-forward/Fast-backward

Fast-forward

Press and hold the [d] button for 1 second or longer.

When the panel is open, the same operation is also available by using the [d] button in the panel.

Fast-backward

Press and hold the [a] button for 1 second or longer.

When the panel is open, the same operation is also available by using the [a] button in the panel.

The specified track is selected and playback starts.

To repeat tracks,

touch the [T.RPT] key.

To repeat discs,

touch the [D.RPT] key.

To scan tracks,

touch the [T.SCN] key.

To scan discs,

touch the [D.SCN] key.

To play tracks at random,

touch the [T.RDM] key.

To play discs at random,

touch the [D.RDM] key.

Selecting a track

Track-up

1.Press the [d] button to move ahead to the beginning of the next track.

2.Each time you press the [d] button, the track advances ahead to the beginning of the next track.

When the panel is open, the same operation is also available by using the [d] button in the panel.

Top function (CD)

The top function plays from the first track (track No. 1) of the disc.

When playing a disc 1 to 6

Press the [DIRECT] button (1 to 6) with the same number as the CD playing.

When playing a disc 7 to 12 (only when a 12 disc CD changer is used.)

Press the [DIRECT] button (1 to 6) with the same number as the CD playing for 1 second or longer.

Top function (MD)

The top function plays from the first track (track No. 1) of the disc.

Press the [DIRECT] button (1 to 6) with the same number that the MD playing.

If an MD is not loaded in a slot of the MD changer, pressing the [DIRECT] button corre- sponding to its disc number is invalid.
