Access Point Mode

Access Point (AP) mode adds wireless capability to your existing wired network. The DAP-1650 acts as a central connection point for any computer (client) that has an 802.11ac or backwards compatible 802.11n/g/b/a wireless network interface and is within range of the access point. Clients must connect to the network name (SSID) broadcast by the access point in order to wirelessly access the network. If wireless security is enabled on the access point, the client will need to enter a password to connect. In Access Point mode, multiple clients can connect wirelessly to the network at the same time.
