Inadditiontothefrequencythe K6alsostorestherecep tion mode (see 'Setting the reception mode') and the RDSstationname,providedthatthenamehadbeenr e ceivedinitscompleteformwhentheprogramwasst ored.

TheTunerMenuofferstwofacilitiesforstoringpr ograms:

1.Manualstoring

2.Automaticstoring(Autostore)

When storing programs manually you use the station searchfunctioninitiallytolocatethedesiredrad iostation;if necessarywaitinguntiltheRDSstationnameappear sin fullonthescreen.

TheradioprogramcanthenbestoredusingtheProg ram Menu;youcanselectanyProgramNumber.

Explanation:

Whenyouselect Autostore functionintheTunerMenu thetunerautomaticallysearchestheentireVHFban dfor stationswhichcanbereceivedwellinSTEREOmode, and automaticallystoresthelocatedstations.Itcarri esoutthe processtwiceusingdifferentsearchthresholds.

ThenextstepistoselectaProgramNumberasstart ing point,i.e. thenumberfromwhichthelocatedprogr ams

aretobestored.Ifyouwishtofilltheprogramm emory fromthestart,selectthenumber01.

At this point the Autostore function can still be inter ruptedbypressingthe button.

Pressing the button activates the Autostore

function. Thefrequencydisplaystartstoincrement

(run

upward).

 

Thisprocessmaytakeaconsiderabletime,asthet uner attemptstopickupthecompleteRDSstationnamefo r

each transmitter it locates, and store the name at the sametime.Ifnecessaryyoucaninterruptthe Autostore processbypressingthe or button.

Whenthe Autostorefunctionisfinished,thescreenagain displaystheProgramyoulastselected.

The K6storestheradiostationsintheorderinwhichth

are located by the Autostore function. You can subse

quently rearrange the sequence to suit your prefer

ence

usingthe 'Exchanging Two Programs'function.
