Four AV source devices (providing picture and ana loguesoundsignals)canbeconnectedtotheDVDsu r roundreceiver;alternativeinputsocketscanbeas signed tothesesourcedevicesonthe K6;theseinputs(coaxial oroptical)aresuitablefordigitalsignals.

Ifthe K6issetupinthiswaythesignalfromthedigital sourcedeviceisacceptedandprocessedinsteadof the analoguestereoinputsignal.

Thealternativeinputsareassignedinthe

Calibration:

Whenanexternalsourcedeviceprovidingananalogu e soundsignalisconnectedtothe K6,thebestpossible reproduction quality can only be obtained if the an a logue/digitalconverterofthe K6ismatchedaccurately totheoutputlevelofthesourcedevice.

The K6 features an automatic calibration function to carryoutthisprocess.Thisisthecalibrationpro cedure:

Select the desired analogue audio or AV source

 

deviceandplayafortissimo(extremelyloud)pas

 

sageofmusic.

 

2.

Call up the 'Inputs

Menu', move to Calibration

 

start

andpressthe

button.

3.Thescreendisplaysthe activemessageaslongas thecalibrationprocesscontinues.
