When selecting the AUDIO OUT

Notes :

This unit can output either analog audio signal or digital audio signal(, not both analog and digital audio signals concurrently). Therefore, you should set the AUDIO OUT to either ANALOG or coressponding digital out setting(SPDIF/STREAM or SPDIF/PCM) according to system connections, etc.

When the DIGITAL OUT of the unit is connected to the DIGITAL IN of an amplifier which does not contain the Dolby Digital or DTS decoder(which processes the bitstream signal), you should set the AUDIO OUT to SPDIF/PCM to convert Dolby Digital or DTS bitstream to linear PCM(2 channel) of 48 kHz/16 bit and to output it.

If the AUDIO OUT is not set correctly, loud noise or no sound may be heard from the speakers, and it may be harmful to your ears and damage the speakers.
