Operating Instructions

Temperature Features

Press TEMP COOK/ROAST 4 times to select Simmer.

How to Use the Probe to Simmer

The Simmer feature heats food to 180°F. and holds it at that temperature up to

12 hours or until you remove it and press CLEAR/OFF.

1.Insert the temperature probe into the food, resting it on the side of the dish. Attach it securely in the oven wall.

2.Press TEMP COOK/ROAST 4 times to select Simmer.

3.Press START. If you need to stir the food, restart the oven by pressing START again.

When the simmer temperature is reached, the oven holds the food at that temperature until CLEAR/OFF is pressed.

Add 4 cups liquid. Insert probe into

parallel to leg. Turn over after 1/2 of time.

Broiler/Fryer

Same as above.

 

 

 

Ham/Pork

 

 

Roast

4–6

Add 4 cups liquid.

 

 

 

Soup

 

 

Stock/Vegetable

7–10

Make sure that vegetables and meat are

 

 

covered by liquid. Stir every 3 hours.

Split Pea

5–7

Add enough liquid to cover peas at least

 

 

2 inches. Stir after 3 hours.

 

 

 

*Total time includes time to bring food to 180°F. and hold at that temperature until done.
