Installation Instructions

FORYOUR SAFETY

Do not store or use combustible materials, gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. If you smell gas:

1Open windows.

2Don’t touch electrical switches.

3Extinguish any open flame.

4Immediately call your gas supplier.

Flat-blade screwdriver

adjustable wrench

Pencil and ruler

Pipe wrenches (2)

(one for backup)

 

Level

Drill, awl or nail

Gas line shut-off valve

Pipe joint sealant or UL-approved pipe thread tape with Teflon* that resists action of natural and LP gases

Flexible metal appliance connector (1/2I.D.) A 5-foot length is recommended for ease of installation but other lengths are acceptable. Never use an old connector when installing a new range.

Flare union adapter for connection to gas supply line (3/4or 1/2NPT x 1/2I.D.).

Flare union adapter for connection to pressure regulator on range (1/2NPT x 1/2I.D.)

Liquid leak detector or soapy water.

Lag bolt or 1/2O.D. sleeve anchor (for concrete floors only).

Long matches and/or match holder (for models equipped with standing pilots).
