Oven Cooking

Upper Oven Knob Control

(Manual Clean Only)

Oven Temp Knob

The Oven Temp knob is used to

select and maintain the oven temperature. Always turn this knob

just to the desired temperature. Do not turn to a higher temperature

and then back.

Setting the Control for Baking and Roasting:

1.Push in and turn Oven Temp knob to desired temperature. Allow 10-15 minutes for preheating.

2.Place food in the center of oven. Check food for doneness at minimum time in recipe. Cook longer if necessary.

3.Remove food from oven and turn Oven Temp knob to OFF.

Oven Light

Press the Oven Light switch on the control panel to turn the oven light on and off. Both upper and lower lights operate together.

Oven Bottom

Protect oven bottom against spillovers, especially acidic or sugary spills, as they may discolor the porcelain enamel. Use the correct pan size to avoid spillovers and boilovers. Do not place utensils or aluminum foil directly on the oven bottom.

Oven Vent

When the oven is in use the area near the vent may become hot enough to cause burns. Never block the vent opening.

The oven vent is located below the backguard vent shield on your range.

Do not place plastics near the vent opening as heat from the vent could distort or melt the plastic.
