Cleaning the machine

J WARNING

T Press the ‘Change the filter’ button. ‘Change the filter’

EIf you do not want to start changing the filter just yet, press the ‘’ button.

T Press the ‘Next’ button. ‘Change filter’

T Remove and empty the water tank.

T Open the filter holder and remove the old CLEARYL filter car- tridge.

T Insert the New filter cartridge into the water tank, exerting slight pressure.

T Close the filter holder. It will click into place audibly.

T Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water and reinsert the tank.

T Place a receptacle (at least oz or ml) under the hot- water nozzle.

T Press the ‘Next’ button.

‘Filter is being rinsed.’, water flows out of the hot-water noz- zle.

EYou can interrupt rinsing of the filter at any time by pressing any button. Press the Rotary Switch k to continue rinsing of the filter.

EThe water may be slightly discolored. This is not harmful to health and does not affect the taste.

Rinsing of the filter stops automatically after approximately

oz ( ml). The machine heats up.‘Please select product:’ appears on the display.

After preparations or switch-on rinses, the IMPRESSA will prompt you to clean it.

Non-recommended (e.g. liquid) cleaning agents may contain sub- stances that could damage the machine or leave residues.

TUse only original JURA cleaning tablets. These are specially formulated for your machine.
