EThe descaling program lasts approximately minutes.

EJURA descaling tablets are available from specialized dealers.

E If you use a CLEARYL Pro Blue filter cartridge and this is acti- vated, you will not be prompted to descale.

E If the descaling agent comes into contact with sensitive sur- faces (e.g. marble), damage cannot be ruled out. Clean up any splashes immediately.

Precondition: ‘Please select product:’ is displayed. The c symbol is also displayed.

OT Press the P button.

‘Maintenance status (/)’

T Press the ‘Descale’ button. ‘Descale’

EIf you do not want to start descaling just yet, press the ‘’ but- ton.

T Press the ‘Next’ button. ‘Empty drip tray’

T Empty the drip tray and coffee grounds container and put them back into the machine.

‘Pour descaling agent into water tank’ T Remove and empty the water tank.

T Completely dissolve JURA descaling tablets in a receptacle holding oz ( ml) of water. This may take several min- utes.

T Pour the solution into the empty water tank and insert it into the machine.

‘Please press the Rotary Switch.’ T Remove the cappuccino frother.

T Place a receptacle under the connector of the cappuccino

frother and another under the hot-water nozzle.

kT Press the Rotary Switch.

‘Machine is being descaled.’, water flows repeatedly out of the connector of the cappuccino frother and the hot-water nozzle.

The operation is interrupted, ‘Empty drip tray’. T Empty both receptacles.
