OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Be sure equipment is connected to properly grounded 120 volt power supply with 15 amp circuit. (230 volts for export models)

Popping

1.Turn on the LIGHT switch and the front façade will illuminate. After proper heat-up time (approximately 5-10 minutes) the bubbles tubes will begin to flow. This switch can be used independently of the popcorn machine and it is not mandatory to have the front façade on to pop corn.

2.Turn on the WARMER switch and the bottom warmer and the interior light inside the cabinet will come on.

3.Turn on KETTLE/MOTOR switch and wait about 4 to 6 minutes. Note: The WARMER switch must be ON for the KETTLE switch to work.

4.Place one measure of oil in the kettle (2 ounces). Immediately add one measure of raw popcorn (6 ounces) plus seasoning salt.

5.While the corn is popping, keep the front doors slightly open to prevent fogging. Keep the hopper door at the “out” position to aid in catching stray popped corn.

6.Allow the corn to pop until popping ceases; then dump remaining popped corn from kettle by rotating handle clockwise 1/3 turn and pulling downward.

7.Repeat steps 2-6 for additional batched of corn.

8.Turn the KETTLE/MOTOR switch to OFF when finished popping corn.

9.Wipe excess oil from the exterior of kettle as often as possible to prevent burned on oil stains.

KETTLE WILL BE HOT! Please be sure to avoid direct contact with the kettle during the popping process!

Kettle Care

The Paragon exclusive popcorn kettle, with patented heater arrangement, consists of a double (two part) unit for maximum efficiency at minimum expense with low-cost maintenance.

NOTE: To avoid heavy build-up of deposits that require specialized cleaning, please follow these instructions:

1.Wipe, with soft towel or cloth, excess oil from exterior and interior of kettle as often as possible.

2.Excessive or careless use of popping oil may result in kettle damage.

3.Always be sure to turn KETTLE switch to OFF when popping is complete.

4.For heavily carbonized kettles, Paragon recommends the use of Kettle Cleaning Kit (part #1075).

NEVER USE WATER ON ANY PART OF THE KETTLE!

Kettle Removal
