Coarse Filter Cup

The coarse filter cup is located on the floor of the

dishwasher drawer. It is

designed to collect large food and non-food

items that cannot be

processed through the dishwasher disposal system, i.e. bone, broken glass, etc. Check and empty the coarse filter cup if food soil remains on the coarse filter plate. This ensures foreign objects

are not recirculated through a cycle, causing possible damage to dish load.

Important: Do not start the dishwasher until the coarse filter cup is securely in place and flush with the coarse filter plate. Doing so may damage the dishwasher motor and/or spray arm.

Cleaning the coarse filter plate and coarse filter cup:

If coarse filter plate accumulates food soil, cleaning of the coarse filter cup is needed.
