1Setting Up

You must manually add instruments on LAN interfaces:

aRight-click on the LAN interface, choose Add Instrument from the popup menu, and click OK in the resulting dialog (because the desired interface is already selected).

bIn the next LAN Instrument dialog, select either Hostname or IP address, and enter the oscilloscope’s hostname or IP address.

cClick Test Connection.

dIf the instrument is successfully opened, click OK to close the dialog. If the instrument is not opened successfully, go back and verify the LAN connections and the oscilloscope setup.

3Test some commands on the instrument:

a Right-click on the instrument and choose Send Commands To This Instrument from the popup menu.
