CORRECTION

Clean and regap or change spark plug.

Replace fuel filter.

Drain fuel tank and refill with fresh gasoline.

Drain fuel tank and carburetor, refill tank with fresh gasoline and replace fuel filter.

Connect and tighten spark plug wire.

Clean engine air screen/fins.

Clean/replace muffler.

Check all wiring.

See "To Adjust Carburetor"

in Service Adjustments section

Contact an authorized service center/department.

Replace blade. Tighten blade bolt.

Replace blade mandrel.

Tighten loose part(s).

Replace damaged parts.

Check wiring, switches and

connections. If not corrected, contact an authorized service

center/department.

Poor cut - uneven • Worn, bent or loose blade.

Mower deck not level.

Buildup of grass, leaves, and trash under mower.

Bent blade mandrel.

Clogged mower deck vent

holes from buildup of grass, leaves, and trash around mandrels.

Replace blade. Tighten blade bolt.

Level mower deck.

Clean underside of mower housing.

Replace blade mandrel.

Clean around mandrels to open vent holes.

Mower blades will not rotate

Poor grass discharge

Obstruction in clutch mechanism.

Worn/damaged mower drive belt.

Frozen idler pulley.

Frozen blade mandrel.

Engine speed too slow.

Travel speed too fast.

Wet grass.

Mower deck not level.

Low/uneven tire air

pressure.

Remove obstruction.

Replace mower drive belt.

Replace idler pulley.

Replace blade mandrel.

Place throttle control in "FAST" position.

Shift to slower speed.

Allow grass to dry before mowing.

Level mower deck.

Check tires for proper air pressure.
