Dirty/clogged muffler.

Loose or damaged

wiring.

Carburetor out of adjustment.

Engine valves out of adjustment.

Excessive vibration Worn, bent or loose blade.

Bent blade mandrel.

Loose/damaged part(s).

CORRECTION

Check all wiring.

Check/replace solenoid or starter.

Set in "Higher Cut" position/ reduce speed.

Adjust throttle control.

Clean underside of mower housing.

Clean/replace air filter.

Check oil level/change oil.

Clean and regap or change spark plug.

Replace fuel filter.

Drain fuel tank and refill

with fresh gasoline.

Drain fuel tank and carbura tor, refill tank with fresh

gasoline and replace fuel filter.

Cpnnect and tighten spark plug wire.

Clean engine air screen/fins.

Clean/replace muffler.

Check all wiring.

Contact

center/department.

Replace

blade.

Tighten

 

blade bolt.

 

Replace

blade

mandrel.

• Tighten loose part(s).

 

Replace

damaged parts.

Buildup of grass, leaves, andtrash under mower.

Bent blade mandrel.

of grass, leaves, and trash around mandrels.

• Check wiring, switches and

connections.

If not corrected

contact an

authorized

service center/department.

Replace blade. Tighten blade bolt.

Level mower deck.

Clean underside of mower

housing.

Replace blade mandrel.

Clean around mandrels to

open vent holes.
