1. Stopping Your Tractor

NOTE: REMOVE KEY WHEN LEAVING TRACTOR TO PREVENT UNAUTHORIZED USE:

aPush clutch-brake pedal intofull "BRAKE" position,, Keep your foot on pedal (Fig 7).

b,, Place attachment clutch lever in "DISENGAGED" position_

c.Move gear shift lever tp "NEUTRAL" position,_

d_ Lift up to place parking brake in "ENGAGED" posi- tion (Fig. 10) and release pressure from clutch/ brake_ Pedal should remain in "BRAKE" position,,

eMove throttle control to "S" (slow) position.

aThis engine has been shipped filled with summer weight oil (For cold weather operation see chart page 16). Check engine oil level.. Refer to REPAIR AND ADJUSTMENT section (page 16).

Changing oil after the first two hours (or two mowings) will help eliminate break-in residue which might be damaging to your engine..

bFill fuet tank (Fig..6). Use fresh, clean, regular un- leaded gasoline. Capacity is 5 quads (473 litres)..

NOTE: FRESH, CLEAN WINTER GRADE FUEL MUST BE USED TO INSURE GOOD COLD WEATHER STARTING
