Double Insulated Lawn Mower

Doubleinsulationis a conceptinthe safetyof electriclawn mowers,whicheliminatesthe needfor the usualthree-wire groundedpowercordand groundedpowersupplysystem.Whereverthereis electriccurrentin the mower,therearetwo completesetsof insulationto protectthe user.All exposedmetalpartsareisolatedfromthe internalmetalmotorcompo- nentswithprotectinginsulation.

Servicingof a lawnmowerwithdoubleinsulationrequiresextremecare andknowledgeof the systemandshouldbe performedonly by aqualifiedservicetechnician.Forrepairservicewe suggestyou takethe lawnmowerto yournearest authorizedservicedealer.Alwaysuseoriginalequipmentmanufacturer's(OEM)replacementpartswhenservicing.

Tragicaccidentscanoccurif the operatoris notalert to the presence of children.Childrenare oftenattractedto the mowerandthe mowing activity.Theydo notunderstandthe dangers.Neverassumethat childrenwill remainwhereyou lastsawthem.

Becompletelyfamiliarwiththe controlsandthe properuseof this machinebeforeoperatingit.

Thismachineis a precisionpiece of powerequipment,nota plaything.Therefore,exerciseextremecautionat alltimes. This machinehas beendesignedto performonejob: to mowgrass. Donot use itfor anyotherpurpose.

Neverallowchildrenunder14yearsof ageto operatethis machine.Children14andovershouldreadand understandthe instructionsandsafeoperationpracticesinthis manualandon the machineand betrainedandsupervisedby an adult.

Only responsibleindividualswho arefamiliarwiththeserulesof safeoperationshouldbeallowedto use thismachine.

Planyourmowingpatternto avoiddischargeof materialtoward roads,sidewalks,bystandersand thelike. Also,avoiddischarg- ing materialagainsta wallor obstructionwhichmaycause dischargedmaterialto ricochetbacktowardthe operator.

To helpavoidbladecontactora thrownobjectinjury,stayin operatorzonebehindhandlesandkeepchildren,bystanders, helpersandpetsat least75feetfrommowerwhileit is in opera- tion. Stop machineif anyoneentersarea.
