PROBLEMCAUSE
Loss of power • Cutting too much grass/too fast.

I"Buildup of grass, leaves, and trash under mower. Bent blade mandrel.
Clogged mower deck vent holes from buildup of
grass, leaves, and trash around mandrels.
CORRECTION
•Set in "Higher Cut" position reduce speed.
•Adjust throttle control.
•Clean underside of mower housing.
•Clean/replace air filter.
•Check oil level/change oil.
•Clean and regap or change spark plug.
•Replace fuel filter.
•Drain fuel tank and refill wit fresh gasoline.
•Drain fuel tank and carbure tor, refill tank with fresh
gasoline and replace fuel filter.
•Connect and tighten spark plug wire.
•Clean engine air screen/fin
•Clean/replace muffler.
•Check all wiring.

•Contact an authorized service center/department.
•Replace blade. Tighten blade bolt.
•Replace blade mandrel.
•Tighten loose part(s). Replace damaged parts.
Check wiring, switches ant
connections. If net
corrected, contact an autho rized service center/
department.
•Replace blade. Tighten blade bolt.
•Level mower deck.
•Clean underside of mower housing.
•Replace blade mandrel.
•Clean around mandrels to open vent holes.
