Drain Information

A drain/overflow assembly must be installed on the bath, water tested, and connected to the sanitary system of the house. After opening the carton, inspect for damage. A solvent weld type drain is included and must be installed as shown. The drain solenoid wiring plug must be connected to the control box prior to drain/overflow assembly. The plug position (Drain Solenid) is shown on the control box. It is recommended that the tail pipe be installed on the drain before the drain/overflow is installed on the bath. Hand tighten and then use a wrench to tighten until the tail pipe does not turn. Follow the installation instructions provided with the drain/overflow kit to install the drain/overflow assembly. Note: the bath must be propped up due to the length of the tail pipe.

NOTE: Watertight installation of the drain is the installer's responsibility. Drain leakage is excluded from the Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath warranty of this product.
